Pianofest in the Hamptons Announces Summer 2023 Season — Six Weeks of Recitals Featuring the Piano World's Brightest Emerging Stars. One of the East Coast's premier music festivals, Pianofest in the Hamptons returns this summer for six weeks of intimate piano recitals at venues across Southampton, East Hampton, and Westhampton. This year's programming — celebrating Pianofest's 35th season — runs from June 26 to July 31.

Pianofest in the Hamptons returns this August for a series of Monday evening concerts at Avram Theater in Southampton. After a year away, Pianofest is returning for a four-week season in front of live audiences. Unlike previous summers, the performers will be drawn from distinguished Pianofest alumni, and the size of the audiences will be limited by C.D.C. protocols.

I am very excited to share with you Pianofest's vision for our upcoming 2021 summer season. After a year away, Pianofest is returning for a four-week season starting in August at the Avram Theater and other venues, in front of live audiences. Unlike previous summers, the performers will be drawn from distinguished Pianofest alumni, and the size of the audiences will be limited by C.D.C. protocols.

The health and safety of the Pianofest Family — students, staff, teachers, trustees, community partners, and the members of our audience — is our highest priority. COVID-19 is impacting all of us in unprecedented ways, and we share a deep concern for the individuals and communities grappling with its effects. Given this rapidly changing environment, we decided to cancel our 2020 summer season. This was a heart-breaking but necessary decision. Nevertheless, we were confident it was the right thing to do for the general good.

With our summer well underway with the summer festival, we are so excited to update you with some of our news. On everybody’s minds is our Monday evening concert at Avram Theater, July 15th, 5pm, with iconic American actor and arts advocate Alec Baldwin as host.
