Past Faculty
2026 faculty have not yet been announced.
In the past, Pianofest teaching artists have included Paul Schenly, Yefim Bronfman, Sergei Babayan, Richard Goode, Michelle Cann, Soyeon Kate Lee, Jerome Lowenthal, Ursula Oppens, Konstantin Soukhovetski, and Pavel Nersessian, among others.
The Student Experience
Pianofest offers a uniquely immersive study, collaboration, and performance experience for all accepted students. For an visual demonstration of this remarkable program, watch the video below.
Important Note
Pianofest is intended for college-age students enrolled in a conservatory or university.
It is expected that all students will have full insurance coverage for travel- and health-related problems and emergencies.
Application Information
To apply for Pianofest 2025, we require:
(1) submission of an application form, including 45 minutes of video recordings from at least 3 contrasting historical style periods. (2) a nonrefundable application fee.
First Session: Monday, June
All students attending Pianofest receive a full scholarship, room and board plus a stipend.
DEADLINE: Pianofest has a rolling deadline, the last day of which is April 1st. Therefore, decisions will be made on an ongoing basis up through April 1st. Applications received after that date will not be considered.
